Terms of Service
Effective date: July 26, 2026
These terms govern your use of Remicita, the appointment scheduling service at remicita.com. By creating an account or booking a time through a Remicita page, you agree to them.
The service
Remicita lets hosts publish booking pages, define their availability, and take bookings; invitees can pick a time, and both sides receive confirmations, calendar invites, and reminders. Hosts may optionally connect Google Calendar so bookings sync to their calendar and existing calendar events block booking slots.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
- One person or organization per account; you may not sell or transfer your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Remicita to:
- send spam or make fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive bookings;
- violate any law or the rights of others, including privacy rights of your invitees;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours;
- scrape or harvest data from booking pages.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Bookings and content
Hosts are responsible for the meetings they offer, for honoring or cancelling bookings, and for how they use invitee contact details. Remicita is a scheduling tool, not a party to any meeting or transaction between hosts and invitees. Content you enter (event descriptions, notes) remains yours; you give us the limited right to store and display it as needed to run the service.
Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional and subject to Google's own terms. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, which removes our access. Our handling of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy. If Google's services are unavailable, bookings still work but calendar sync may be delayed or skipped.
Pricing
Remicita is currently free while in early access. We may introduce paid plans for additional features in the future; we will give existing users clear notice before any feature they rely on becomes paid.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. We recommend hosts keep their own calendar as the source of truth.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remicita and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of the service — including missed, double-booked, or incorrectly synced appointments. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for the free service, is zero) or USD 50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Termination
You may stop using Remicita and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms or to protect the service, and will notify you when we do unless prohibited from doing so.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we will update this page and the effective date above, and where appropriate notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
